So my boots just arrived, I tried them on, but have not “worn” them out yet.I typically wear 7.5-8M in shoes depending on the shoe. After reading mixed reviews, I went with the UGG recommendation of my normal 7.5. They seem a bit snug around the “widest” area of your foot where the laces begin in the boot. It seems tolerable and because they are leather, I presume they will stretch a little like most leather does.I did try to get good pictures for everyone that may have wondered about the chestnut color like I did. I saw the black color in Macy’s and I just did not like it, but I loved how the chestnut color looked in the advertised pics. I have a sky light in my kitchen directly above my pictures so I hope it helped capturing the “colors”. Overall, right now I can say that I love these boots, but I do recommend a 1/2 size bigger at least if you have a regular size foot and the snug feeling is not comfortable for you.Just on my overall initial try on and appearance,I do recommend these boots. I hope they are comfortable and if my review allows, I will come back and update it regarding comfortability. My shoe size varies depending on the brand. Sometimes a 9 sometimes 9.5. I run into problems because I have a bit of a wide foot. It is at least a C, sometimes, again, depending on the brand or style, I need a wider width. This boot is really nice. I ordered a 9.5 and it is just long enough and not uncomfortably narrow but there is no room to spare and I am wearing a very thin sock. I don't think sizing up to a 10 would have made much difference in the width fit, just would have made the boot look longer than I would have liked. This is not a serious winter boot but very cute for fall, maybe light sloppy snow too. The opening is pretty big even with the laces snug which is great for me, I have pretty thick ankles/legs. Very cute with skinny jeans cuffed or leggings. There is only fur on the bottom footbed, not around the ankle area. The toe part is leather, not rubber like a duck boot. The black boot has silver colored lace loops, the brown has brass colored. Will update after wearing these to a concert tomorrow.I was torn about what size to buy because so many recommended going down a whole size. I normally wear an 8 (or an 8 1/2 in some brands of running shoes), but I've never worn a seven. I finally decided to get my regular size (8), and I'm so glad I did. As a matter of fact, I should've gotten the 8 wide. I have had a bunionectomy, so I like a larger toe box, and these feel a bit snug around the top of my feet. I'm keeping them though, in hopes that they'll stretch. I think if I bought another pair, I would buy the wide.I haven't worn them yet, so hopefully I don't have to change my 5 star rating. : ) So far, so good!I am a horse trainer and I run a big ranch estate. I work all day, mowing, trimming trees, working horses. On my feet all day. I usually wear Timberland shoes, or Ariat's. But my feet are a bit wide, and shoes either fit or rub my small toe and I can't wear them. Not an Ugg's fan, most of their stuff just looks stupid, but I spotted these at Dillard's. Hmmm? Amazon had them in a better color, so I bought them, and so far so good! I've worn them all day long and I didn't think about my feet at all, and that's something. And they look neat. The rubber should last longer too, the terrain here is very rough. I'm happy I got them.I've had these for over a year. They are comfortable & warm. Very well made. I haven't yet put their water-resistance to the test, but they are fantastic boots otherwise. Leather where there is usually rubber, so I'm more careful than I would be otherwise (because I do want them to last many years).Truly the perfect any weather boot! As a Texan local I finally have a shoe that is just as flexibly as the weather!! No matter if it’s raining on Monday, snowing Tuesday, and sunny on Thursday (aka last week) this shoe is durable, fashionable and functional. Never gets your feet wet, never looks like just another rain boot, never gets too hot. It’s not heavy, like typical rain boots. They are my go to boot to walk all day around my college campus. They are so perfect and so so so worth the investment.I am a long time fan of uggs and after several years of hard regular wear it was time to replace my old pair of similar uggs. I was disappointed at the much lower quality of these boots. To be fair my old uggs were $200+ and worth every penny, I’m not sure if the company sold out or the fact that these boots were so much cheaper lead to the drop in quality. They work as decent water proof boots, but if you’re expecting the long lasting quality and super comfort of past uggs these will be a let down.I like these boots so far. Aesthetically, these kind of shoes aren't really my style, but I needed a pair of waterproof boots for the usually rainy winters that we have where I live. I ordered a half a size up in case I needed to put in some inserts or wear a thicker pair of socks, but now I think I didn't need to, as they're starting to stretch out. It doesn't get terribly cold here, but they kept my feet warm in the 50 degree weather we had recently.Love these boots!! I wore them out and about and went for a walk with them straight out of the box and they are very comfy!! I am very pleased with my UGG booties!! Very, very pleased with my purchase!
