This is a perfect purse for someone wanting a low profile, handsome accessory that's built to last.Materials:The leather used is of very good quality, even grain and thick enough to withstand a lot of use (as determined by zipper pull and strap center cut edges).The hardware is also high quality, the swivel clicks precisely made with solid springs and smooth swiveling. The zippers are all metal - with potential to snag delicate fabrics, but easily remedied by carrying zipper side out.The fabric lining is solid and well thought out. The interfacing used to stiffen the fabric of the card holding area is just right, providing adequate support without feeling bulky or excessively stiff.Design:I give the design a solid A rating. I feel like I want something slightly different from the edge profile, somewhere between the single and the double for width, but as a purse designed to be lightweight and low-profile, this purse has been excellently thought out. The omission of a prominent label earns this purse big points in my eyes, as it is much easier to use it with either side facing out and it pairs much more nicely with sleek, understated pieces. Good style doesn't need to shout about who made it, or should be impressive enough to warrant people asking after the brand. This purse does the trick.Storage/packaging/shipping:This is the only arena in which I could see improvement. The straps were nicely folded and stored inside the purse, but because of its thin profile the strap hardware ended up forming a visible bump through the leather, presumably thanks to the weight of items stored atop it pressing the leather against the metal. This is slightly visible in the second picture, with the purse vertically oriented, the bulge located in the lower right-hand corner. Similarly, the leather of the bottom edge of the purse was bent quite a bit during storage.My hope is the leather will relax during use and these two marks will even out over time, especially when the purse is full.Perhaps in the case of these low-profile purses, it would be better to store the straps outside of the purse itself in the same packaging bag, so as to avoid deforming the leather.These notes aren't worth detracting any stars in my review, as this is a problem faced by any retailer anywhere, and I've often seen far worse being sold for far more.The packaging for shipping was quite adequate. While it would be nice to see environmentally friendly/recycled/recyclable packaging, what was there does enough without using excessive amounts of material or space.This bag is beautiful, the leather is soft and gorgeous, it’s sturdy and well made, and I get compliments on it whenever I wear it. I really want to love this bag but I can’t. It’s just too small and weirdly designed in the interior to be at all functional. First, the bag does not expand in width, like AT ALL. So don’t even try to put something like a small lotion or sunscreen or even a fat lip balm in there. It does not give and will not close. And if you’re thinking about putting your phone in there, forget it unless it is literally the only thing you carry in there. The exterior zip pocket should be perfect for my iPhone 12 and it looks like it would fit but nope. It’s about 1 cm too long and 1/2 cm too wide, so the exterior compartment is pretty worthless. It currently holds a pen and a ziplock bag of Tylenol because not even a small flat tin like an altoids mini mint tin fits in there and still zips. That’s it for the exterior compartment. On the inside, the six card slots are super tight and located in such a way it’s impossible to see which card you have in which slot without taking them out. Once you get them out, it’sa struggle to put them back in because the slots are tight and unforgiving. Forget about doubling up in there if you carry more than 6, just literally no give in the fabric or stitching. The tiny interior zipper compartment holds 1-2 very small things. I have my car fobs in there and a tiny tester-size perfume (one of those itsy bitsy ones you get from Sephora as a freebie). The center compartment will not hold anything else but a phone, or you can put 2-3 other small things like a tube of lipgloss and a contract case in there. This is a complete list of everything that I can carry in this bag and still zip all the compartments: drivers license plus 5 cards, some cash and dental floss picks, car key fob, pen, 8 Tylenols in a baggie, perfume sample, flat lipgloss tube, contact case, emery board. I have to carry my phone in my pocket and my sunglasses on my head. I love small bags and I usually carry another small befen wristlet that holds everything I need for running around. I liked the cross body style and color of this bag and thought it would be a nice fall transition piece until I’m ready for my black bag again. But nope. This one is pretty worthless. It’s so pretty and stylish, I can’t give it 1 star, but that’s what it deserves functionality-wise.I adore this bag! The leather is very durable and all stitching is tight and in place. I originally hadn’t planned ed to use the included shoulder strap but I ended up loving the addition. The bag is just big enough for my necessities. There are card slots inside so everything I need is right at my fingertips. The slots are made just right so the cards slide in and out with ease and never fall out. Also inside is a small zipper pocket for change or I use it for my chapstick and airpods. The main compartment fits my iphone 11, an extra battery charger, i have a pen, pill box, and small tin of lotion. With all of that there is room to shuffle about and easily locate my items. Lastly there is a good size outer pocket which I personally use to shove reciepts. If you’re on the fence just buy! A great value and handsome bag.I've been searching for a wristlet crossover bag with an extra long strap. This is perfect. For us large gals, most straps leave your bag to short for comfort. This has been become my everyday bag. I have always carried a designed bag and have spent lots of money on them. As a senior, those bags were wonderful when I was young and had the extra strength. But now I looking for comfort and Befen Leather Wristlet Crossover pursue hit a homerun for me. If you're young or old, try this bag, you won't be disappointed.I have switched to smaller bags as I have gotten older. I just don’t like carrying heavy bags with lots of stuff. This bag is crazy soft - it is imported so I hope it is not made of puppy leather from China. It is perfect for the essentials. I just love it and will likely order more colors.I was really pleased with this bag it was the perfect colour …teal to go with a dress.It’s beautifully made with lots of compartments inside…yes it’s dinky but big enough to hold essentials and I was able to get my phone in.I am tall and worried that the cross body strap wouldn’t be long enough but it is and this would be my go to company if I needed another of the same.This bag is fantastic. Small but so much space inside. I chose coffee and the leather is soft and a lovely dark brown.I love the design, it has one large main compartment with three slots for credit cards. One pocket at the back to slip my phone in for easy access. A pocket at the front with a pleat which allows extra space for bulkier items (lip stick, ear buds).As you can see from my pictures I could get my wallet, lipstick, ear buds, make up and phone in it. Could also get my sunglasses in if necessary. I could put my full size purse in it, although as this is a 'travel lighter bag', I don't think I would.Definitely recommend the bag! My only niggle is... We need more colours!**colour is as per amazon listing. Some of my photos change the colour a lot.Fantastic. The fabric/leather is really soft and expensive looking. It's the perfect size for taking if you're going out but only want to carry your phone, lippy and a little bit of cash. It actually fits quite a lot in it, despite being very light. Inside there's pockets for cards/cash, and a zip pocket on the side too. As a 'plus-size' lady, i found the strap to be -almost- the perfect length, if i set the it to the maximum length, though i do prefer a little longer, but i just used the included clip-on clutch strap to lengthen the main one, by clipping the clutch strap to the bag and the main strap to the clip on one! Genius!I was looking for a smaller bag to take on holiday and came across this Befen soft feel leather cross body bag. I bought the red one and am really pleased with it. I have found that red actually goes with lots of other colours. I will be using it with the wrist strap attached rather than the shoulder strap. Although small I can get the essentials in it - comb, lipstick, small mirror, cash and cards plus car keys. There is still space left for passport etc. As stated it is very soft and will be easy to pack or fit into the larger bag Imwill be taking inside the plane with me.Great little bag very useful I have a few of these they hold more than you think, also an outside pocket useful for your phone,It’s great that you have a great choice of colours with this bag, buy you won’t be disappointed..
