Nice shoe but runs small and back of heel rubs and hurts.Super pleased with these! Been running in Brooks Adrenaline 20 and wanted to try something with better energy return for shorter distances (5k). Similar fit and these definitely give better energy return. These shoes want to run! Other reviews mentioned heel rub. I wear tall socks and didn’t notice any rub. Other reviews mentioned traction issues on wet surfaces. These performed the same as other road running shoes on wet pavement. The soles are a bit stiffer than what I’m used to and unsure if it’s by design or just because they are new. I’m a fan of these and will use them for any distance less than 5 miles and save my Adrenalines for the longer runs in this round of marathon training.I started running again after a 2 year hiatus. I had stopped due to an injury. When I resumed I was experiencing a lot of pain after consecutive runs. I overpronate. These shoes felt great from the moment I put them on. I feel a bounce in my step and so far no pain in knees, ankle, or hip. The one thing I noticed was blistering on the bottom of my foot, but that could've been due to the high heels I wore the day prior. I've now worn them for 3 runs and 1 long walk. No more blistering.I was worried when I took these out of the box because there is a very heavy seem in the middle of the heal that I was afraid would rub...but I worr them all day without any problems. They significantly reduce my plantar fasciitis pain. I also like this design better than the original Bedlams because the toe box is much wider. These are going to be my go-to shoes for work this year.If it wasn’t for the design of the shoes at the ankle, which digs in terribly, I would give it 5 starts. The shoes provide great support and helps a lot to keep my stride straight while running, but I had to cut off the back of the shoes to be able to wear them. The ankle design is horrible and comes up too high at the ankle and it curves in, digging into the skin and causing blisters. For this reason I would not recommend them. They seemed a little stiff and tight at first but after about 10 miles, they feel perfect. I read other reviews about the heel bleeding on first use, so I wore them for a 1 mile walk to blister my heel and then let it heal before running in them and it worked like a charm.Great comfortable shoes, my wife trains long runs with then and they are very soft and cause no pains. If you buy running shoes, I recommend to do research on the tour of pronation you have to avoid injuries, Brooks has all your of shoes and they're all very comfortable. These shoes are nice! This is my first pair of Brooks. I like them just as much as my Asics. They fit the same. I ordered a 1/2 size bigger than my shoe size. Fit was perfect!
