I also ordered the hello kitty one and it came with a strap but one of the clasps is welded closed making it useless. I am exchanging both once again testing my luck to see if I can actually get purse that is in new condition and has useable straps. They are perfect sIze to hold my cel phone and really cute but not wore than about $5 if that.It was a gift
