I love this dress. I was a litte concerned based off the reviews so I thought I would comment on the items listed by other people that concerned me.1) Its too thin. - No, it is not too thin. It is a lightweight cotton. It is made of 100% organic cotton and is very soft. I got the grey and will not need to wear anything under it. If you get a lighter color like white, you may need to wear something underneath as the cotton on top is a weave nit. It is perfect for wearing tights, boots and you will not sweat like crazy once you get to your party in the winter. This is not a tradtional sweater dress.2) Its too Big - No, it is not too big. It is not marked as fitted. I am 5'5" and weigh 115 and the XS fit perfect. Not tight, and a little loose which is what I like. I am small chested and curvy on the bottom and it is very flattering. it hits about 4 fingers above my knee.Overall, a great buy. Very Happy with it.Pros: Fabric is nice and soft, not itchy, anticipating it will be comfortable to wear. I am usually a size 6 or 8, so I wasn't sure whether to order Small or Medium. Based on the measurement guide, I went with a Small and it fits perfectly; more form-fitting on top but looser around the hips, so it doesn't cling. I'm 5'7" and it hits me just above the knee. And it's Fair Trade Certified, always a plus.Cons: The color is not as creamy as pictured. It's almost an oatmeal color, which was a little disappointing. The fabric is thinner than anticipated, so the right undergarments will be necessary to avoid show-through, especially if planning to wear with darker tights.I love the fabric, love the A-line figure, and the color. I bought this dress during what must have been a promotion. Bought the small, but it's a little loose in the waist line, giving it more of a baby doll rather than a-line shape. I'm probably an XS in this dress, but when I looked to return, the price had quadrupled, so, I'm just going to keep it. Maybe throw it in the dryer and see how it shrinks.I'm 5'10, 130lbs - a good dress for tall girls, very comfortable, long sleeves. Just wish the price was still the same when I bought it (<$20).I agree with the reviewer who described the color as "oatmeal", rather than winter white. The fabric is a thin sweater knit, so I'll be wearing it with a full slip and undergarments designed to minimize lines. The dress isn't clingy, but it does show bulges and rolls. I'm not sure whether I have the body confidence to pull it off, but it's a very pretty dress. I recently purchased three dresses from Prana, and they all seem to fit snugly on top and loosely on the bottom. Its cute for work as an elementary teacher, but it clings a bit to the front of my leggings and shows the outline of my legs. I don't think I can wear it without them to work, I'm 6'1" 152 lbs and fit a small. A medium was droopy at the neckline and big in the arms. Indigo color looks like it does online, whereas the raisin red was rather dull. Not thrilled with this dress. The material is soft, but it's soo thin that you can see through it. You would have to wear a slip underneath the whole thing, but it would have to be the same shape as the dress, which is unusual to find. The "Winter" is more of an oatmeal color than the cream shown in the picture. The neckline is very big so it makes your neck cold. The only pro is that that it's 100% organic cotton and it's very soft, but it's really not that practical. I hope prana starts making 100% organic cotton clothes that are more thick and substantialI'm 5'9" and about 150, the medium size fit great. The style wasn't super flattering since I'm tall and have more weight on my bottom half. The waist area was high on me. Really soft materials and loved the maroon color. Nice quality though. My adult daughter LOVES this dress! It looks great, cute style, amd just whats needed for a Los Angeles winter :-)
